The Van Cliburn will return to Carlson at 9:30 AM Jan 31,2013. It is considered by many to be the most prestigious classical piano contest in the world. In May 2013, thirty young pianists from around the world will be welcomed with Texas-sized hospitality to compete as the music world watches.
These programs provide music and art education to students and bring the excitement of the Cliburn Competition into the classroom.
