Music Teachers Bio

My name is Tina Rodriguez. I have been teaching with the FWISD district for  16 years. I hold two degrees in Music. I have a B.A. in Music and a minor in Theater from Texas Christian University. My Parents are both graduates from TCU.

 I also have a Masters degree in music from the University in Houston. That great combo makes me a red, white and purple horn frog.


In addition, to my college degrees I hold music certification in Orff, Kodaly and Kindermusik.

One of my favorite quotes about teaching music is this, "I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline, and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.” Shinichi Suzuki
